This is something I’ve really been focusing on. Avoiding clouding my mind with thoughts of the future so that i can just fully be in the present moment, become one with the task at hand and perform at maximum output. Whether it’s working, exercising, reading etc. Another trick I’ve been using is practicing building as much enthusiasm as possible before I do whatever action to garner as much energy as I need to really execute!
Anyone else do any of these things or what are some hacks you all use to get to a place of performing at your max output? I’m curious to know😊

I've been on #holiday with family for 11 days in Europe and that's a #blessing in itself. So why have I been filled with so many unwanted emotions? thoughts? feelings?
Smiling is often my greatest performance to the storm within.
In life we can so easily become distracted from that which fills our cup, that which makes us our best self. My #dailydevotional is on that #proyou list along with exercise (typically yoga, soccer or cycling done daily) none of which I've practiced for 11 days. That's on me but #awareness has lead me back home to #mindfulness
Today I stop and take rest from busy travel. Spending time with my #faith ,reading a good book, getting lost in a flow. I took time and practiced today; Breath in and Breath out to remind myself of the light within.
#maketime for that which serves you and fills your #soul . I journey inward today to remind myself of the love I posses, loving ALL that I am, ALL that God has given me, right here, right now so I can participate in love and be #present#neverforget 🙏🙇♂️
So what exactly does it mean to dwell in the well? For me it means making space for wellness in all areas of your life. There are four major domains that are imperative to care for: mind, body, soul, and home. Nourishing these four domains grows well living.
Well living is both and art and a science. It is not enough to focus on one area without tending to the others. We must pull from all knowledge to have the tools needed for change. We must be intentional and consistent with investing in our whole person.
Your path to wellness should be a vertical climb not a horizontal shift. Every day reaching for something higher than your current self. Dwelling in the well is multifaceted and includes making a spiritual connection that you can draw from just the same as you might draw from a physical well.
Imagine your dry bones (a figurative representation of your unwell state) becoming well watered when you dwell in your WELLmind, WELLbody, and WELLsoul. The other area is your WELLhome and has everything to do with environment and community. For it is the things that we surround ourselves with that also nourish our person.
Take some time for prayer, mindful reflection, or meditation to see what areas you need to discern opportunities for growth in your WELLife. Be sure to incorporate the three virtues of praise, love, and serve in all that you do for yourself and those that surround you.

Self-care is a funny concept these days.
Sometimes choosing the most nourishing option looks different depending on what you need in that moment, even in similar scenarios.
For example, sometimes a night out with friends is good food for the soul. Other times, choosing to skip it in favor of a quieter evening is more restorative.
The trick for self care isn’t to always choose what's easy, but it's to identify what your body and your soul needs, and deliver.
Blaise Pascal said “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room, alone”. I know of people who cannot stand being alone. When was the last time you spent time in silence? Every morning, I set aside 1 hour or more to meditate. It was not easy for me to create this habit, I discounted Deepal Chopra, Bryan Tracy, Wayne Dyer and Robin Sharma’s suggestions to meditate. Eventually, I couldn’t NOT do it. I slowly added it to my morning habit, first was 5 minutes, and then 10, 15, 20 and now I can do it for 1 to 2 hours depending upon the thirst of my soul.
