DEAR CLIENTS: I’m beyond thankful for all my clients who love their images enough to share them properly, who give credit, and encourage their friends and family to book their session with me too. You have no idea how greatly I appreciate each and every one of you !!! Our small business can’t survive without your love and support! And that is something I will NEVER forget and forever cherish!
I think I’m going to start offering my returning clients an amazing offer.... after all when you share, tag, and love your images as much as I did capturing them... it’s only fair to return the love.
So keep your eyes open for a post soon announcing a great deal for ALL my returning clients who share, tag, and credit our images properly! ❤
With all my love,
Tashena Shaw Photography
P.S. Be sure to share and tag those you know! ❤

Oaxaca day 4 ❤️ We were lucky enough to be invited to Victoria’s home town to meet her family and learn about her creative process. We were blown away as we learnt about her story. Victoria alone has created an industry for women in her town by teaching them to crochet, sew and create her divine clothing designs. Not only does she teach the women, she manages them, provides them with sustainable work and creates alongside them ✨
She has dreams of having a cotton farm in her town to provide even more opportunities to her community. There are much less men living in San Juan del Rio because many travel north to find work. Her dream could provide the men too with jobs so that they could stay with their families as well as produce high quality organic cotton for her clothing designs 🌿 Here is a glimpse at the creation process, we can’t wait to show you more...
Wedding season has had me MIA from Instagram but I can’t wait to share the magic. Just wrapped and sent this fairytale wedding off to C+B! ✨ Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Bruno! | A day fit for a Disney romance at #AdmiralsMasionatMareIsland , beauty by @vblock, hair by @hairbybreanna_, gown by @martinalianabridal at @flaresbridal, videography by @necranias_dream_art_studio.

Starting our own business has us working from morning to night. Tip to keep yourself productive all day long? Switch up your environment! Sometimes just a change of scenery can do wonders for your productivity. We are constantly changing where we are working. One of our favorite local working environments is @anodynecoffee . Their cafes are a great spot for meetings or to put some earbuds in and focus on solo work. Where are your favorite places to get work done?
We're looking forward to catching up with all our wonderful customers on Thursday night - here is a sneak peek of the items that will be on sale! Starts 6pm instore and online
🎧 Earphones at the ready? Season 3 of the Lady Startup has begun, and @rachelcorbett's guest today is Abigail Forsyth, founder of everyone’s favourite cafe accessory, the @keepcup.
Reusable coffee cups are so ubiquitous today, it seems hard to believe there was ever a time when people didn’t want to use them.
But it was only a few decades ago when Abigail was running a coffee shop with her brother that she realised the amount of waste disposable coffee cups were producing that she realised something needed to change.
And that change would have to start with her creating one of the most well-known brands in Australia.
So how did Abigail manage to not only create a stylish product people wanted but also change people’s behaviour?
Listen to find out… 🎧
I'm getting so excited for our event in Johnson City this weekend! We'll be setting up a vendors for Kitty Conference!! I'll have some new zipper pouch prints that I LOVE and can't wait to share with you!
Happy Monday! What’s your schedule looking this week? Mine is packed with all my favorite things... and a lot of work!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most photographers I know, myself included, didn’t start a business because they were businesspeople. We had a dream to turn a hobby into a profession and ran with it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This year has been a roller coaster ride of learning ever since I decided I was making the leap to doing photography full time. Many times I’ve found myself in a state of mind where all I can think about is work: marketing, finances, website, education, planning, editing, shooting... the list goes on.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Recently I decided to remember my “why” and realized I was leaving out too many of those who were important to me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now I’m scheduling time with my horses and mom, just like I schedule meetings. I’m working on reaching out to friends I haven’t had time to meet up with, and I’m making time for them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I truly feel like this could apply to anyone. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in being productive that you forget what’s important and you don’t even realize what you miss. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This week I have one challenge for you. (Can I even do that? 😂) Take a minute to think about someone or something you love that you haven’t “had time for” in a while and make it a priority.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If there’s anything I’ve learned lately, life is too dang short not to. ♥️
