👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Seeing the determination of this little girl is amazing. Every time she fell, she got back up and tried again, just to fall over and over and over. But finally, after hundreds, if not thousands of failed attempts, she finally stood up on her own!!! Why do we stop having this level of determination as we get older? We try something, fail a few times, and then move onto something else. What would happen if you didn’t give up on that thing you really really wanted? What if you didn’t accept failure? Where would you be now? Where could you be a year or two from now?
It’s unbelievable how much you can learn from a child - just by observing them. So will you adopt this level of determination and get fired up? Or will you stay in your comfort zone and steer clear of failure by not trying? Ro challenges you to go for it! 👊🏼 #determination#motivation#standup#baby#learn#failure#dontgiveup#pgh#lookwhaticando#9monthsold
Hi 👋🏽 it’s actually been about 3 weeks since I’ve posted something and lemme tell you. That was needed.
Training has been off for me so it feels amazing to have three good days in a row of working out and actually feeling like I did something.
I’ve been isolating body parts and really focusing on my HIIT workouts and I’m noticing little tiny changes which to me, motivates me the most! Needless to say, don’t give up when you have weeks of hardship. Three weeks of feeling defeated but I’m taking that energy and frustration and applying it to workouts to help relieve some stress of some events. The best workouts I’ve ever had are ones that involve my stress coming out. Praise God for the ability to workout.
If you’re having a bad week or month, don’t give up. Apply yourself and PUSH, Ive been doing this for the past month and have felt defeated but you can’t let the enemy hold you down. I felt as if my joy was stolen but by Gods grace he is recovering me every single second of the day.
Today is a good day to have a good day, guys! 💛
This combo got a favorable response on my stories so I’ll post it and maybe six more people can see it.
Anyhoo this is a sweet little biathlon of spinning and deadlifting. I’ve always felt that biking was a great activity to combine with a heavy compound leg-based lift. Way better than running. 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲 5 rounds of 3-5 minutes bike +
5 rounds of 6 reps conventional/sumo mix.

55 MILES RUN THIS WEEK. But today’s 20 miles in the heat nearly beat me. Lots of lessons taken from it though. The hydration pack worked well. I had to stop for some other provisions on route too as 4 energy gels weren’t quite enough. Most importantly. my legs just didn’t have their usual spring. I felt tired from the off! But it’s the most I’ve ever run over 6 days (with two 20 milers spaced 4.5 days apart), so it just shows me the importance of feeling fresh. Come Richmond Runfest, I’ll have tapered so this session should stand me in good stead.

The beauty that is grass-fed, grass-finished meat. Look at that DEEP PURPLE!
Is grass-fed meat worth the extra money? Yes, hundreds of studies have shown it has more nutrients and fewer toxins. However, I still think eating grain-fed meat is better than eating no meat at all.
In order to afford this beautiful meat, I have to make SACRIFICES. Most people are not willing to make sacrifices to afford healthy food so they make EXCUSES.
My sacrifices to afford healthy organic food include:
1. No longer spending hundreds of dollars on the weekend going to bars getting drunk. (very popular in your 20's)
2. No longer spending money on a fancy car to impress people I don't care about. In fact, if I could go back in time I would buy an even cheaper car because cars bring absolute no happiness to me.
3. Spending money on fancy clothes. I often find myself shopping at discount stores and thrift stores these days.
4. Eating out less frequently at restaurants overcharging for low-quality ingredients but have a "nice" atmosphere.
What sacrifices are you willing to make for your health?
It is said you are the sum total of the 5 people you hang around with most. Chose wisely. Surround yourself with positive people. People who will lift you higher and see the greatness within you even when you don't see it in yourself🦋
Some days I go heavy, some days I go light, either way I always do it right. #BARZZ .
🤣 but on a serious note I haven’t done this weight or this rep range in a very long time. This is a few weeks back in the swing of things and just trying to keep it coming and keep it consistent.
Standing at about 205lbs, 5’11” on day 5 of the week on very low carbs. #LETSGETIT
ps: I forgot my belt at home and borrowed this one from the gym no one tell me shit I got a 32 waist this shit a kids size so FOH 😂😂😂
Inspiration strikes! I love candied walnuts and pecans on my salads, but they can be expensive to buy in the grocery store. I had leftover nuts from when I made granola, and decided to give it a try... just sugar (or a replacement sweetener), salt, cayenne pepper, and 20 minutes in the oven... presto! Now the challenge is eating them on a salad, and not straight outta the container. 🤷🏻♀️ #ActiveSATX
It’s time to push on and test myself again on a 18 mile plus run. On Monday I struggled over the last 4 miles of a 20 mile session due to muscle fatigue and (probably) dehydration. So today I’m going to test running with a hydration rucksack and see how that goes. It’s certainly a warm one. Let’s go!
