So I spend money on travel, bags, and organic/grass fed food.
Those are my biggest splurges. However, I do abstain from certain things like manicures and pedicures.
It’s not my priority, only bc I find joy in other things. .
Everyone’s different. We all have different things that bring us a lot of joy. I’m not judging, I think a lot of people would think the amount of money I spend on bags is moronic 🤣.
But it looks like I save approximately $1300/year by doing my own nails. Nail polish bottles last me years (personally love zoya, I find other brands dry out and get clumpy in the bottle, but my zoya ones have been going strong for maybe 3+ years).
On this trip, I brought nail polish wipes ($1 after points) and sally Hansen nail polish & top coat ($11 after target promotion for both) and repainted my nails. .
It’s not fancy but it looks clean & simple. I love it. Even though my coworker calls me cheap for doing my own nails 😝.

As you might have noticed (except those in our private group), we haven't been active over the summer. This is because I took a break from trading to travel and live life, which I prioritise over everything.
The market isn't going anywhere, and there's always another trade around the corner. The reason I love and even started investing is to be able to live this lifestyle. 💰Money should never be the main metric 🤯
Hmm, sounds weird, right? We are building businesses and expecting revenue from it, so what is a better way to measure business performance other that cash at the end of financial year? 🤷♂️
Well, this is not true. Revenue should only be a consequence of a healthy business, not it’s definition. If you build your business right, live the vision, hire the right people, build a supportive culture, work for the customer, listen to the feedback, react on the market - you will get your money as a result! Not other way round! 🤯
So your key metrics should be:
