Today I thought I would share my current home gym equipment with you guys. 💪 I've built this up over the last year and a half, slowly adding to the collection while on a tight budget. 👍 My hope is that this will inspire you to start your own home gym! 😄 My equipment is obviously focused on weightlifting, but maybe your home gym will include more resistance bands, sliders and lighter equipment, it totally depends on you and your personal goals. 🙂 All of these weights were super affordable at Walmart, I started with the essentials and built from there. The adjustable bars and dumbbells are so so useful, and they usually come with a few plates to start and then you can buy more plates as you go to increase the weight. 👍 My workout equipment has grown with me in my fitness journey. When I started I only needed lighter weights, now I can load up a full 160+ lbs. on those bars. 💪 It is such a HUGE help to have equipment available at home. It's one of the greatest things you can do to help yourself stay on track and stick to your routine. Some days it's just hard to get to the gym, whether you feel under the weather, extra tired, you don't have a ton of time, or you just don't feel like leaving the house (tell me I'm not the only one 😂). 😝 It motivates me so much to know I can train hard and lift heavy from the comfort of home! 💪😄 Start small, work with what you've got, and push yourself! ❤️

Today let's talk about mental health DIAGNOSES.
Mental health illnesses are hard. So You finally decide to get some help and go see a doctor. The doctor diagnoses you, discusses treatment and you are like yaayy baby steps.
Then after a while you realise the treatment is not really helping or not helping you after a certain extent or that you have somehow gotten worse?
Now you are confused. What do you do? Is this normal? You decide to go see another doctor for a second opinion and he diagnoses you with a whole new illness and suggests possible methods of treatment.
Now you are VERY confused. Which one of them is correct. What if both of them are wrong?
How does a patient deal with this?
Because psychiatry is one of the very few departments where they rarely ever scan your brain or body but diagnose you based on symptoms, imaging tests and your reactions towards stuff, etc.
Which I think is CRAZY.
I'm not trying to demean or invalidate diagnoses. Tbh, i don't know a lot. I am only speaking from experience and what little I have read. But i really really wish it was something I could trust. I was diagnosed wrongly twice. I know a lot of people who have been. It's taxing. It pisses you off. Another treatment, more time. Can this get over already?? Mental health is a ocean we are only now learning to swim through. We don't need this crap to make it worse or quit our treatment altogether.
Know that people do get diagnosed wrongly, that it's fuck all- this is not happening only to you.
