Burn. 🔥 Today we tried the jogging stroller on the sand, and while it was great on the way out, coming back was a different story; rough winds caused sand to swirl up into poor little Ollie’s face, so mama turned around and pulled the stroller backwards the whole way. Was an unexpected lower body workout; going downstairs should be interesting tomorrow. 😬On the plus side, I figured out alternate ways to get a solid workout in with the stroller. Today marks 164 days into what has become an incredibly life altering journey. If I have learned anything and I mean anything at all from this it is this:
The world is often an incredibly ugly place and most of it wants to eat you alive and it will if you let it. So what do you do? The only thing you can do. The only actions you can change are your own. Be better people for the love of other people for nothing more than being other people and hope a few of em pass the love along. Today was a painful day for many reasons, but today I am 164 days into a journey yet finished. I’ll get better.

Traveling & Training✈️🇮🇹
Those of you following know I was in Italy for my first time a few weeks ago! I got to spend a little over a week in Rome, Florence, and Venice. I had an amazing time (I plan on sharing more pictures later) but here’s a few shots.📸
My brother mentioned seeing a gym nearby when we were taking a taxi about back to where we were staying in Rome.
I looked it up and figured I’d try to get a workout in.
The front desk girl was super helpful (Thank God cause I know like 3 Italian phrases and that’s about it) and got me set up with a day pass.
The whole gym is downstairs and it gives everything an old school vibe.
The weight room had everything you could need, the boxing room was really impressive, and like I said, the staff was great. I got to get a workout in in the weight room then they let me borrow some gloves to put a few rounds in on the bags.🥊
Italy was great and I definitely want to go back to Florence and Venice again. The Vatican was amazing of course and I’m so grateful for the experience.
I included some other shots including a selfie with the Coliseum in the background, an amazing pizza (again shout out @bamarroquin for the recommendation), and the tiramisu.
Which was a delicious desert choice.
At every place we went to.😂 .
There is Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.
But there are also many other seasons; seasons of life.
Seasons for growing, seasons for changing and seasons for evolving.
There are seasons of setbacks, seasons that test your relationship, seasons that challenge your patience and ones that might even make you question your faith.
The important thing to realize is that they are all seasons. Here for a moment and here to shape you.
May they mold you into a strong, independent, loving, caring and kind human being. Don't let a difficult season make you believe you don't have a wonderful life.
You have a life. One life. Love yourself through all of it's seasons. ♡

I am on the tail end of finishing my 100 day program in 12 days. I have had ups and downs all throughout. Without the help of my TRIBE I probably would have quit already.
I also need to do just as this quote says and believe in myself. As I start a new program the first week of November with some of my fellow teammates I will need to do just that. BELIEVE.

The 3 W’s to ask yourself when it comes to exercise.
What is your why? Why do you exercise and what is your motivation behind it? Typically when asked this question we usually say, to lose weight. But that’s not enough. You need to dig deep and find out what your 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 reason is that causes you to want to exercise?
For some it may be to become stronger or faster, for others it may be to keep up with their children.
𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘺.
Your why is what’s going to push you to keep going on the days you wanna give up, it’ll be your main motivation and what makes this whole process worth it! It’s so crucial to your journey to pinpoint your why.
What forms of exercises do you enjoy?
Maybe it’s group fitness classes or maybe it’s working out solo. Maybe it’s playing basketball or maybe it’s swimming. 𝗪𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 it is that gets your heart rate up and you enjoy, do it. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘦, it comes in many different forms and whichever one you choose is beneficial!

As long as you find an exercise that you genuinely enjoy, it’ll feel a lot less like work and more like fun, it’ll feel a lot less like an I have to and more like an I get to!
When is the most convenient time to fit it into your daily schedule? When are you willing to fit it in?
For some people it’s early morning exercise and for others it’s late at night. Some take their lunch breaks, while others do it while watching tv.
When works best for you?
The when is often the hardest one to answer because we are so good at using the excuse, 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.

Excited to be racing at @spartan race Tejon for another year!! We will both be racing the BEAST this year. Here's the trick. Go to the store and pick out shorts your size. Then put those shits down and get the shorts 2 sizes smaller. Squeeze into them and hurry your ass to the gym and hit that squat rack hard brudda man. Thank me later for the effortless gains. $$$$$$$
