I had stuffed my sketch book away and put my pencils down after losing my dad suddenly. I found no joy in drawing anymore. Then I recieved an iPad as a gift and figured I'd start trying to draw again and fell back in love with art. I found it helped me with my anxiety and depression.
Just thought I'd share.
I remember finding this on pinterest but unsure who the original artist is. If you know please tag them as I just used their art as reference.
Remembering this sweet boy as we visit Granda and Grandpa. Pencil and map color sketch based on photos from 2016 Christmas visit to the old Illinois home.
‘Un Giorno da Leone’
Spring Summer 2020
April9th 🇵🇼 Exactly one year ago today I finished one of my favourite pieces of all time and left the most gorgeous place I've ever had the privilege to be in. 🌴☀️☁️
🐠🐟 Whenever I feel like I can't take city life anymore I think of Palau 🐡The never ending mysterious sapphire water begging to be explored ⛵️🌊 the simplicity of life on the island and the genuine sincerity of the people whom I know will always welcome me back.
So yes, Palau is definitely the closest place to paradise we have on Earth 🌺🌴 Link in bio for the whole story🌴🐚 #PalauAquarium
